Venosta Valley: the mountain-bike paradise
Anyone who has been out and about on a bike in the mountains knows what freedom is. The holiday region Venosta Valley offers countless single trails, exciting downhills and high Alpine trails - you are spoilt for choice where to experience this sensation first. From a challenging mountain-bike tour into the high mountains through to leisurely pedal with the family on the “Vinschgauer Radweg” (Adige/Etsch Bike Route) along the old Roman road Via Claudia Augusta, everyone is well catered for when it comes to a mountain biking in Upper Venosta Valley.
Our Ansitz Röfen is a very good starting point for all bike lovers. Next to our house run various flow trails, forest trails and forestry roads which lead through the unspoilt forests and mountains to Watles, Slingia or to the Sesvenna hut.
Uina gorge
One of our insider tip for mountain-bikers is the legendary Uina gorge. The adventure “Uina gorge” begins in Schleis, the picturesque mountain village in the eponymous valley above Malles and Burgusio and is therefore easily accessible on foot from our house. We would be happy to provide you personally further information and tips. As a special service we offer our biker-freaks a lockable bicycle storage room.
