Hiking in Venosta Valley in South Tyrol
Flowering mountain meadows, the smell of fresh mountain air, the ringing of cow bells and the view over the Venosta Valley - the Watles adventure mountain, which is only a 4 minutes' drive away, is an indulgence for all your senses.
A well-signposted hiking trail starts right at the front door, leading up from Burgusio to the Watles hiking area. You can leave your car on our parking lot while you are on holiday, follow the trail till the valley station and then ride the chair-lift of Prämajur in order to reach the hiking area within the shortest time. A special treat for our guests is the Venosta Valley Card that will enable free utilization of the Venosta Valley train as well as all other means of public transport throughout South Tyrol. This card will be handed out the day of arrival.
Excursions
Do you want to know and explore our favourite excursions? Our most popular places to go are the Plantapatsch Alpine hut, the Höfer Alpine hut and the Pfaffensee Lake. Also an excursion from Slingia to the Sesvanna hut with its splendid view of the surrounding Alpine landscape is one of our real favourites.
